US Immigration focus on Life in the US: According to foreign media reports on the 8th, maple, cedar, and elm trees should have begun pollination two or three weeks ago. However, due to generally lower temperatures across the eastern and central United States this year, the pollination time for many plants has been delayed until now. Dr. Bill Lowry of Rutgers University in New Jersey stated that pollen allergy sufferers should prepare for the upcoming pollen 'explosion'.

Dr. Bill Lowry stated, 'Because the pollination times of many plants overlap this year, pollen dispersal will be very severe. We may see pollen gathering like clouds in the coming weeks, looking like a layer of yellow-green fog. You might think this yellow-green fog is a bit distorted, but it is actually a sign of excessively severe pollen dispersal.'
Reports indicate that the 2015 pollen allergy season in the United States arrived relatively late. Dr. Bill Lowry has been studying climate change in recent years, and his research results show that in recent years, the start of pollination has been earlier and the duration has been longer.
Dr. Rosenstreich, Chief of the Allergy and Immunology Department at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, recommends that allergy patients prepare second-generation over-the-counter allergy medications, such as Allegra, Zyrtec, and Claritin, and keep nasal sprays such as Nasacort and Flonase with them at all times, as these medications can help patients alleviate symptoms during the day.
Other ways to alleviate spring pollen allergies include: tracking pollen trends online or through local weather forecasts; avoiding outdoor activities on days with high pollen counts, especially between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM; taking off your coat when entering the house so that pollen does not invade your living room and bedroom; and showering before going to bed to wash off pollen.
