The U.S. Department of State's Visa Office has officially announced the EB-5 visa bulletin for the 11th month of the fiscal year 2023, which is August 2023. The latest results show that the A chart remains unchanged, with the direct investment categories C5 and T5 consistent with the non-reserved visa categories I5 and R5 of regional center projects, maintaining the date of September 8, 2015. The B chart remains unchanged, with the direct investment categories C5 and T5 consistent with the non-reserved visa categories I5 and R5 of regional center projects, maintaining the date of January 1, 2016.
It is noteworthy that the EB-5 visa reserved categories (20% for rural area project reserved visas, 10% for high unemployment area project reserved visas, and 2% for infrastructure project reserved visas) continue to have no backlog for investors born in mainland China. Applicants intending to immigrate to the United States should act quickly to seize the opportunity of the backlog-exempt "fast track" to obtain a U.S. green card!

According to the August visa bulletin, the EB-5 visa reserved categories for investors born in mainland China continue to have no backlog. For investors, the current rural area (TEA) projects enjoy reserved visa quotas and are in a backlog-exempt status, which will facilitate investors' rapid immigration to the United States. Investors should take immediate action to secure reserved visa quotas and seize the backlog-exempt immigration "fast track" to the U.S. now!
At the same time, the new EB-5 legislation allows eligible applicants to submit both I-526E/I-526 immigrant petitions and I-485 adjustment of status applications simultaneously. When submitting the I-485 application, applicants can also apply for travel permission (I-131) and work authorization (I-765). Upon receiving the I-485 receipt, applicants can legally remain in the U.S. for an extended period; approval of the I-765 application grants a work permit allowing legal employment; approval of the I-131 application grants advance parole (AP) allowing legal re-entry into the U.S.
Immigration has two key elements—timing and choice! Currently, the popular "Florida Lakeside Jewish Community" project is a rural TEA project that meets the new legislation's criteria, not only enjoying EB-5 visa reserved quotas but also receiving priority processing from USCIS, combining backlog exemption, a project employment multiplier of up to 5.44, and first-priority collateral for EB-5 funds, among many other advantages! Good projects do not wait for anyone; interested parties should act quickly!
