Affected by the 2020 pandemic, the real estate markets in many countries have experienced some volatility. However, Portugal's property market has bucked the trend, showing a positive development momentum. Both local Portuguese investors and overseas investors remain full of confidence in the Portuguese real estate market.
According to data released by Portuguese real estate sales websites, the average price of property transactions in Portugal rose by 8% in the first half of last year, while rents also saw steady growth. In June 2020, housing rents increased by 10% month-on-month, with the Lisbon region seeing an 8.5% month-on-month increase. Not only have housing prices and rents both risen, but construction permits in Portugal are also continuously increasing.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, there were 59,000 licensed buildings, an increase of 2.8% compared to the same period last year. Building permits for new construction increased by 5.0%, and completed buildings increased by 1.5%.
Statistics show that Portugal completed 37,000 buildings, with the majority corresponding to new construction (80.0%), of which 73.5% were intended for residential housing. Notably, the Lisbon Metropolitan Area saw a strong growth of 39.4%, and the Autonomous Region of the Azores saw a 20.9% increase.
As a European country suitable for living and tourism, Portugal can meet the needs of many tourists and residents in terms of food, clothing, housing, transportation, and leisure. More and more people are choosing to go to Portugal for various reasons such as tourism, immigration, and study. Currently, through the Portugal Golden Residence Permit Program, investors can purchase properties that are over 30 years old or located in urban rehabilitation areas and renovate them for a total value exceeding 350,000 euros; or purchase real estate (including land, residential properties, commercial properties, etc.) with a value of no less than 500,000 euros. This allows three generations of a family to apply for the Portugal Golden Residence status, enjoy Portugal's generous social welfare and high-quality educational resources, travel freely within the 26 Schengen countries, and benefit from a simple naturalization process. Upon meeting the conditions, they can apply for Portuguese citizenship, obtain a Portuguese EU passport, and acquire property with permanent ownership—truly a multi-benefit investment!
The newly passed Portuguese Nationality Law has been released. As long as either parent holds a Portuguese Golden Residence Permit for at least one year, their children born in Portugal can directly obtain Portuguese nationality. This major benefit will attract more investors to immigrate here, and Portugal immigration may see a new surge.
Immigration is best done sooner rather than later. Starting July 1, 2021, Portugal will stop the property investment immigration policy for the Golden Residence Visa in Lisbon, Porto, and coastal city areas. Investors who wish to obtain status by purchasing property in these cities must seize this final "window period" of a few months and enter the market early!

Investing in a manor is investing in land. Compared with traditional property purchases, houses have depreciation issues, while land does not depreciate and is more effective for wealth preservation. Therefore, land is more suitable as family wealth to be passed down through generations, realizing the preservation and appreciation of family wealth.
Investing in a manor in the Greater Lisbon area of Portugal means gaining not only a European manor of over a hundred acres but also the Portuguese Golden Residence status for the whole family—multiple benefits from a single investment! The Greater Lisbon area manor, as one of the few property investment immigration projects in the popular Greater Lisbon area, helps you catch the "last train" for property investment immigration in the Lisbon region and realize your "Manor Dream"! For investors interested in immigrating to Portugal, good projects do not wait. Get on board early, apply early, and benefit early!
