Recently, the U.S. Department of State's Visa Office officially released the U.S. immigration visa bulletin for November 2020, the second month of the 2021 fiscal year. The latest results show that the A Chart remains unchanged, with the cutoff date for EB-5 applicants set at August 15, 2015; the B Chart remains at December 15, 2015. Additionally, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has officially announced the resumption of accepting I-485 adjustment of status applications under the B Chart in November.
A Chart: Final Action Date (FAD)
(Note: Consular interview & submission of I-485 adjustment of status application to USCIS)
B Chart: Date for Filing Application (DFF)
(Note: For those who have obtained legal status in the U.S., submitting I-485 adjustment of status application to USCIS)
【Interpretation by WorldWay Immigration】
I. The cutoff date for the EB-5 investment immigration visa is August 15, 2015. Investors who have received I-526 approval and have a priority date earlier than August 15, 2015, can proceed to the final consular interview or submit the I-485 adjustment of status application in the U.S. Due to the pandemic, the U.S. Department of State suspended global consular visa operations on March 20, 2020. It is currently unknown when consulates will reopen, and WorldWay Immigration will continue to monitor the situation.
II. It is worth noting that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services did not utilize the B Chart in April, May, June, July, August, and September; the B Chart was utilized in October, the first month of the new fiscal year 2021. In November, the B Chart continues to be utilized. Therefore, the document teams and customer service teams of WorldWay Immigration, along with the NVC visa group and the North America client relations group, will continue to initiate client screening, contact relevant law firms, and enter a sprint mode to quickly prepare and submit I-485 adjustment of status applications for eligible applicants.
Currently, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services continues to accept and process immigration applications. For investors with a strong demand to immigrate to the U.S., it is advisable to lock in quality projects as soon as possible based on their circumstances, "prepare early, apply early, queue early, and benefit early!"
