Currently, the Grenada government has announced that all immigration application documents must be submitted through the newly launched online information system for the investment citizenship program! After investors receive the approval letter and pay the remaining fees, they can formally pledge allegiance to citizenship in writing and then obtain their passport.
Immigration application process is as follows:
1. Application Pre-submission
Applicants are required to provide primary documents and pay due diligence fees, handling fees, and application fees;
2. Application Completion and Submission
Prepare all application documents and payment receipts related to government fees as required based on each family's or individual's situation.
3. Online Submission of Application
Grenada has decided to suspend the acceptance of paper application materials and instead submit applications via scanned copies—utilizing the "Online Management System for Investment Immigration Projects" for immigration approval. However, the Grenada Immigration Department still reserves the right to request applicants to provide paper documents after receiving scanned copies.
4. Wait for Approval
After submitting the application, the Grenada Immigration Department will process it within 2-3 months and send out the approval letter. After receiving the approval letter, applicants will directly pay the final payment to the government and pledge allegiance to citizenship in a witnessed written form.
5. Obtain Passport
After completing the citizenship process, applicants will be issued a Grenada passport.
The pandemic isolation is temporary, but life planning is long-term! Investment requires timing and decisiveness; more and more investors are beginning to consider "Plan B" and engage in risk planning after this pandemic! Caribbean countries have unique advantages and are increasingly favored by high-net-worth individuals, showing strong interest in their investment citizenship programs!
In recent years, Grenada, known as the "backyard of America," has attracted more and more investors to retire and reside on the Spice Island due to its livable environment, friendly tax policies, comprehensive education, and stable social environment, thus realizing their dreams of starting a new life in Grenada.
Currently, Grenada's investment citizenship program allows individuals and their eligible family members to obtain Grenadian citizenship. Applicants can donate at least $150,000 to the Grenada National Transformation Fund (NTF) and pay the relevant government fees, allowing up to four generations of the family to apply for Grenadian citizenship and obtain Commonwealth citizenship. Once investors hold Grenadian citizenship, they can apply for the U.S. E-2 visa, allowing them to work, live, and study legally in the United States, while also enjoying visa-free travel to the United Kingdom and benefits from Commonwealth countries.
The Five Unique Advantages of Grenada's CBI Program
1. The only country in the Caribbean region eligible to apply for the U.S. E-2 visa
2. The only investment immigration project in the Caribbean that allows visa-free travel to China
3. A passport program that allows siblings to accompany
4. A citizenship program that has removed the requirement for adult children to be enrolled in school
5. A citizenship program that has removed age limits for parents/grandparents
