On April 7, 2020, the Civil Aviation Administration and the General Administration of Customs issued a notice requiring Chinese passengers returning from 26 countries, including Turkey, to declare their personal health status daily for 14 consecutive days through the international version of the health code mini-program before boarding. If the declaration meets the requirements, a green health code with an airplane symbol can be obtained after 14 consecutive days of declaration.
At the same time, to minimize the risk of imported cases, both Chinese and foreign passengers traveling to China must present a negative nucleic acid test result for COVID-19 (within 120 hours before boarding) when boarding. Airlines will verify the green health code and the negative nucleic acid test result before boarding.
