【Worldway Group Interpretation】
I. The EB-5 investment immigration visa cutoff date is August 8, 2015. Investors who have received I-526 approval and have a priority date earlier than August 8, 2015, may proceed to the final consular interview stage or file an I-485 adjustment of status application in the United States to apply for an immigrant visa or adjust their immigration status. Due to the pandemic, the U.S. Department of State suspended global consular visa services on March 20, 2020. With the easing of the pandemic, the official website of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs shows that U.S. consulates in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and other cities have resumed routine appointments for tourism, student, and other non-immigrant visas. It is believed that good news regarding the resumption of EB-5 immigrant visa interviews at the Guangzhou Consulate will be heard soon.
II. It is worth noting that USCIS did not activate Table B in April, May, June, or July. Whether Table B will be activated in August remains to be observed. When Table B was activated in March, Worldway successfully completed I-485 filings for all applicants who met the criteria at that time.
III. The EB-5 visa priority dates for mainland Chinese investors experienced two major leaps in March and May. In March, the Table A priority date for EB-5 visas advanced by 5.5 months, and Table B advanced by 7 months; in May, the Table A priority date for EB-5 visas advanced by 47 days. In June, July, and August, the EB-5 visa priority dates for mainland Chinese investors continued to advance steadily: in June, Table A advanced by 14 days; in July, Table A advanced by 7 days; and in August, Table A advanced by 17 days. The significant advancements in Tables A and B in March allowed a large number of investors to land in the U.S. or adjust their status in the U.S. about two years earlier than previously predicted; many investors who were facing the risk of their children aging out have thus gained a major turning point.
Currently, USCIS continues to receive and process immigration applications as usual. For investors with a rigid demand for U.S. immigration, they should act according to their own circumstances, lock in high-quality projects early, and follow the principle of "prepare early, apply early, queue early, and benefit early!"
For those interested in immigrating to the U.S., the Yellowstone Club Phase II project, which is highly favored by investors in the current market, is an excellent choice to help investors successfully immigrate to the U.S. As one of the few EB-5 projects on the market that complies with the new regulations for the $900,000 low-price investment, it combines many outstanding advantages such as dual approval from USCIS, over-fulfillment of job creation, repayment secured by assets worth five times the investment, and transparent fund supervision, which greatly protects the interests of investors.
