Canada's education system is among the best in the world, and in recent years, the number of applicants for Canadian study-to-immigration has been steadily increasing. However, to enjoy this high level of educational quality, one must first meet the relatively stringent requirements for Canadian study-to-immigration. Currently, the four provinces most favored by international students are British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec, though each province has its own distinct immigration policies.
I. British Columbia, Canada
1. Complete a program of 2 years or more (college, undergraduate level or higher) and accumulate 1 year of work experience to be eligible to apply for immigration;
2. International students who have obtained a doctoral or master's degree in natural, applied, or health sciences from a university in British Columbia can apply directly for PNP immigration without the need for work experience or a job offer from a Canadian employer.
II. Ontario, Canada
1. Students must graduate from a public university or college in Ontario;
2. Complete at least 2 years of full-time college or undergraduate education; those with overseas degrees must complete at least 1 year of full-time master's degree or postgraduate diploma studies in Canada;
3. The job offer must meet the management or technical skill levels certified by the National Occupational Classification (NOC) of Canada. The job category does not need to be related to the field of study; PhD and Master's graduates (IELTS 7.0) can apply directly for provincial nomination without work experience;
4. Applicants must submit their application within three years of graduating from the university or college.
III. Manitoba, Canada
1. Complete at least 1 year of full-time college or undergraduate level education or higher;
2. Graduates of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) programs who have completed an internship at a relevant enterprise or research institution can apply for immigration without work experience;
3. For graduates in Manitoba other than those in STEM programs, they can apply for provincial nomination once they find a job, provided the job is related to their field of study and is on the In-Demand Occupations List. With a contract of 1 year or more and a CLB 7 (IELTS 6.0 in each band), they can apply for immigration directly;
4. For Manitoba graduates other than STEM master's students, if they find a job in an 0, A, or B category on the In-Demand Occupations List with at least a one-year full-time job offer, they do not need six months of work experience, but they must have an IELTS score of 6.0 in each band, and the job must be related to their field of study. If the job is unrelated or not on the In-Demand Occupations List, they must work for 6 months or 1 year or more before submitting an application.
IV. Quebec, Canada
1. Undergraduate:
1) Study at a university in Quebec for two years or more, no work experience required;
2) Obtain a degree recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education (undergraduate or higher);
3) French proficiency, especially speaking, must meet an intermediate-advanced level; no work experience required.
2. College (Diploma):
1) Obtain a degree or diploma issued by an educational institution recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education;
2) Complete at least 1,800 hours of study in Quebec;
3) Pass the Quebec intermediate French proficiency test; no work experience required.
