Recently, the official website of the Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT) released tourist data for October 2019 regarding tourist accommodation in Montenegro (hotels, campsites, tourist resorts, vacation resorts, holiday homes, hostels, motels, etc.). The number of tourists staying in Montenegro in October 2019 increased by 48.7% compared to October 2018, with foreign tourists accounting for 88.3%. In the first 10 months of 2019, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourist arrivals increased by 19.0% and overnight stays by 10.7%.
Regarding the analysis of the structure of foreign tourists staying overnight in October 2019, the majority of tourists came from Germany (17.4%), the United Kingdom (10.1%), Russia (10.0%), France (8.5%), Israel (5.4%), China including Hong Kong (5.4%), Serbia (4.3%), and Norway (3.0%). Tourists from other countries/regions accounted for 35.9% of overnight stays.
