This is the continuation of the use of the B Chart by the immigration bureau following the first three months of the 2020 fiscal year, namely October, November, and December 2019.

According to the announcement from the Department of State's Visa Office: For the A Chart, the cutoff date for EB-5 applicants is November 22, 2014; for the B Chart, the cutoff date for EB-5 applicants is May 15, 2015. The difference in cutoff dates between the A and B Charts is approximately 174 days. This is undoubtedly a significant benefit for applicants who have obtained other lawful status and are seeking to adjust their status within the United States.

Eligible applicants should seize this valuable opportunity to submit their I-485 status adjustment applications. WorldWay Immigration will keep an eye on whether the immigration bureau will continue to use the B Chart next month.

Currently, the EB-5 Regional Center Program has been extended to September 30, 2020. As we know, the administrative reform regulations of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officially took effect on November 21, 2019. This means that now, to immigrate to the U.S. through the EB-5 program, the investment amount for projects in TEA areas is $900,000; for projects in non-TEA areas, the investment amount is $1.8 million.
