Of course, as the Ambassador of Montenegro to China, I must mention the relationship between China and Montenegro. I am very proud to say that the relationship between our two countries is very friendly and profound. The relationship between Montenegro and China is currently at its best period in history. The leaders of the two countries meet every year for high-level talks to discuss economic, political, trade, and other exchanges between the two countries, and we are very proud of this.
Finally, I especially want to say to everyone, welcome to Montenegro! Although we are a small country, we are a proud nation because we are very peaceful; even in the whole of Europe, Montenegro is a land of peace. We have very beautiful natural scenery, and we open our doors to welcome your visit!
After coming to China, one thing I felt is that the Chinese people are very hospitable and friendly. I am even a little jealous in my heart because, before coming here, I used to think that Montenegrins were the most hospitable, but after coming to China, I discovered that my Chinese friends are even more hospitable!
The second point, which we believe is very important for Montenegro, is the concept of family. We know that the concept of family is one of the most important traditions in China. Similarly, Montenegrins place great importance on the continuity of the family.
The third point, besides the hospitality and family values I mentioned, another thing that connects Montenegrin and Chinese culture is the tradition of opposing Nazism and colonialism. Between 1941 and 1945, Montenegro also experienced four years of very arduous war against colonialism and Nazism. This point is deeply connected and inseparable from Chinese history!
