The latest data from Statistics Canada shows that Canada added 54,000 jobs in September, with the unemployment rate dropping from 5.7% to 5.5%. The agency's Labour Consultation Department indicated that the new workforce primarily came from full-time positions, while most of the 81,100 jobs added in August were part-time.
The data indicates that compared to the same period last year, Canada has added 456,000 jobs, with an employment growth rate of 2.4%.
Among the new jobs, healthcare and social assistance accounted for 30,000 positions, with an increase of 108,000 jobs year-on-year. There was also significant growth in accommodation and food services, with 23,000 new jobs added last month. The distribution of male and female workers in the core working age (24 to 54 years) remained unchanged.
The increase in jobs means more employment opportunities, increased income for residents, and is more beneficial for economic development. Statistics Canada previously released a report stating that by 2068, Canada's population will nearly double, with most of the population growth resulting from ongoing immigration. The demographic dividend will also bring sustained rapid growth to various aspects of Canada's economy and society.
As we know, Canada is a traditional immigration country with good social welfare, high quality of life, high safety index, and strong social inclusiveness. Canada is also one of the countries with high educational quality globally, with advanced educational concepts and a high proportion of investment in education relative to the national GDP. In recent years, Canada has attracted many individuals to immigrate and settle here due to its numerous advantages.
The WorldWay Group, ranked among the top 500 Asian brands, has launched low-threshold investment immigration programs for Quebec to obtain a Maple Leaf Card, as well as quick landing programs for entrepreneurs in Saskatchewan, Prince Edward Island, Manitoba, and New Brunswick, among other Canadian investment immigration projects, helping investors realize their dreams of moving to Canada.
Currently, the WorldWay Group's immigration projects across 18 countries are running a major promotional event in October, with many discounts and surprises. We welcome both new and old clients to actively participate and seize the opportunity! For more details, please consult: 400-138-2929.
