The full name of the Canada Study SPP Program is the Student Partners Program, which is a visa program established for students attending member institutions of the Association of Canadian Public Colleges. This program requires meeting two main conditions:
1. The institution must be on the list of member institutions of the Association of Canadian Public Colleges.
2. The student must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or above.
Students who meet the above requirements can apply through this program, which reduces the historical requirements for study guarantee funds. They only need to deposit CAD 10,000 in a bank designated by the embassy, prepay one year of tuition, and provide a certain amount of guarantee funds and other visa materials.
In addition, this type of visa has a higher approval rate and a faster processing time compared to regular study visas. Its main purpose is to encourage more students with strong language skills to choose to study in Canada.
