According to information from the Moldova Immigration Center, the European Parliament passed a bill on February 14, Thursday, with a high vote to conduct security reviews of foreign investments to protect the interests of EU countries in critical technology and infrastructure sectors.
The bill was passed with 500 votes in favor, 49 against, and 56 abstentions. The bill does not directly mention specific countries. This agreement is considered the first regulation in the EU to prevent foreign investment from threatening national security.
Under this bill, the EU will investigate foreign investments in critical industries and provide opinions on whether these investments may harm European interests.
Franck Proust, a Member of the European Parliament, told Reuters: "All major countries in the world - the United States, Canada, Japan, and China have review systems. The United States established the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) in 1975. Only Europe does not have one." Currently, an increasing number of Western countries are concerned about the national security risks posed by foreign investments.
Experts from the Moldova Immigration Center indicate that in response to this EU regulation, investors should adequately plan their identities before entering European investments. Currently, the Moldova passport program is the first fast passport program from a country on the European continent, breaking the previous pattern where fast passport programs were limited to island nations, and the investment amount is relatively low, making it one of the ideal choices for investors to plan their identities!
At the same time, Moldova is also an associated country with the EU and has relevant tax agreements with the EU, making it an important gateway for investors to enter the EU and a significant bridge for investing in the EU! Investing in EU countries with Moldovan citizenship is a quicker and more secure investment channel! Currently, Moldova has just opened its immigration policy, and the application conditions are relatively lenient, making this an optimal time for investment!
Recently, the Moldova investment citizenship project, which combines numerous unique advantages, has been strongly selected as one of the "Top Ten Immigration Events of 2018" and ranked first on the list, attracting widespread attention from domestic and international media and the industry! As the first fast passport program from a country on the European continent, it requires only 100,000 euros and takes about 90 days for the entire family across three generations to quickly obtain a passport from a country on the European continent, meeting various needs such as asset allocation, identity planning, and children's education planning, making it an excellent choice!
With Moldova officially opening its immigration policy, the Moldova investment citizenship project has landed in China and has rapidly gained popularity, making Moldova one of the most sought-after investment destinations!
