The government of the Republic of Montenegro announced the launch of a new investment immigration program starting from October 1, 2018. The program issues a quota of 2,000 citizenships, and the validity period of the investment immigration program is three years. The government of the Republic of Montenegro hopes to attract foreign funds through this program, while also aiming to stimulate economic growth in developing regions.
Immigration Conditions for the Republic of Montenegro:
1. The main applicant must be at least 18 years old; no criminal record.
2. Health examination certificate.
Immigration Methods for the Republic of Montenegro:
1. Donation of €100,000 to the government + investment of €250,000 in the northern region of Montenegro (excluding Podgorica) or development projects, which can be sold after 5 years;
2. Donation of €100,000 to the government + investment of €450,000 in the coastal region of Montenegro (including Podgorica) or development projects, which can be sold after 5 years.
Eligible Family Members Who Can Accompany:
Spouse; financially dependent minor children; parents of the main applicant or spouse.
