Hong Kong Latest News! The World Tourism Cities Federation 5 released the "World Tourism City Development Report ( 2015 )" for the first time in Beijing. In the "World Tourism City Development Index Ranking" showcasing the comprehensive ranking of tourism cities, Paris took the top spot, with Hong Kong ranking third.


The tourism city development index ranking is based on a comprehensive evaluation of six individual indices: tourism prosperity, development potential, attractiveness, support, economic contribution, and satisfaction. The ranking results align closely with the performance and development trends of tourism cities in the global market.

It is reported that the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) was initiated four years ago in Beijing, in collaboration with many world-renowned tourism cities and tourism-related organizations such as Berlin and Los Angeles, forming a voluntary international tourism organization. The headquarters and secretariat of the federation are located in Beijing, and there are currently a total of 151 city and institutional members. A total of 103 cities participated in the evaluation of the "World Tourism City Development Report ( 2015 )", with the top five in the World Tourism City Development Index ranking being Paris, London, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Zurich, and New York.
