Hong Kong is a highly prosperous international metropolis with one of the highest economic and living standards in the world. The economic prosperity of Hong Kong is attributed to the freedom of its market economy. Investors who choose to immigrate to Hong Kong are opening a window to expand into international markets. In recent years, the rapid development of Hong Kong's electronics industry cannot be underestimated, with continuous growth in export volume, and the industrial upgrade and transformation is already underway.
Recently, the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association held its 35th anniversary celebration in Hong Kong. Chairman Ng Chi-ho stated that the industry needs to continue developing high-tech, high-value-added products to cope with global competition. He noted that the industry's export volume grew by nearly 3% in the first ten months of this year, reflecting the ability of Hong Kong's industry to adapt to market changes and launch new products. Hong Kong businesses have also shifted from focusing on low-end products in the past to producing high-end products, thereby increasing prices.
Ng Chi-ho stated that the Electronic Industries Association currently has over 400 members. He hopes to expand the membership base in the future, including attracting industry leaders such as Cisco and Huawei to join, as well as increasing the number of innovative technology companies. The recently established 3D Printing Association is one such example, and he expects to gradually enhance the recognition of the association.
