Ireland's Immigrant Investor Programme is no stranger to those who aspire to live abroad. In Ireland, the Immigrant Investor Programme is a permission granted to non-European Economic Area (EEA) nationals and their families to make investments in Ireland.

Known as the "Light of Europe," Ireland is a highly developed capitalist country. With its vibrant national culture and captivating natural scenery, it truly deserves its reputation as the "Emerald Isle." Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ireland and China, bilateral relations have developed rapidly, with deepening exchanges and cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, education, science, technology, and culture, creating a favorable trade environment for investors immigrating to Ireland.
On the afternoon of November 19, 2015, the Embassy of China in Ireland held a symposium for overseas Chinese. Ambassador Xu Jianguo attended and delivered a speech. Approximately 40 representatives from local overseas Chinese associations, Chinese language schools, Chinese media, the All-Ireland Students and Scholars Association, and the Confucius Institute at University College Dublin attended the meeting. The symposium was chaired by Political Counselor Wu Lijun.
Ambassador Xu Jianguo first introduced the current status of China-Ireland relations. He stated that China-Ireland relations are currently at their best in history, with continuously strengthening bilateral political mutual trust, rapid and in-depth development of practical cooperation, and increasingly frequent cultural exchanges. Secondly, Ambassador Xu introduced the domestic situation in China, focusing on the "13th Five-Year Plan" and the "Xi-Ma Meeting." Finally, Ambassador Xu expressed four hopes for the overseas Chinese living in Ireland: First, he hopes that the overseas Chinese will further play the role of a bridge and link, contributing more to the development of China-Ireland relations and the friendship between the two peoples; second, he hopes that the overseas Chinese community will strengthen unity, increase exchanges, cooperation, and inclusiveness among associations, and actively integrate into mainstream society; third, he hopes that the overseas Chinese will maintain a good image by demonstrating the cultural essence of the Chinese nation, such as kindness, civility, and diligence; fourth, he hopes that the overseas Chinese will pay attention to safety and care for and help each other. Counselor Wu Lijun provided a brief update on the 2016 "Four Seas, One Spring" performance tour to Ireland organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
