At the end of September 2015, good news regarding the progress of the U.S. investment immigration EB-5 project—the DLJ Four Seasons Resort project, a popular offering from Worldway—was received from the project developers. 6. Gravel and Asphalt Paving: Gravel has been laid and compacted on the resort's entrance road to form the roadbed. Asphalt is currently being laid in areas where excavation work has been completed.
7. Golf Cart Paths: The construction team has cleared and compacted sections of the golf cart paths. These paths will be fully connected once individual sections are completed. Once the project is finished, guests will be able to use these paths to travel between the resort and the golf course by golf cart.
8. Drainage Ditch Construction: Large drainage ditches have been constructed along relevant road sections to facilitate water drainage.
9. Resort Area Construction: Extensive land grading and soil movement have been carried out in this area. Currently, 90% of the grading work in this zone is complete, and the remaining work is ongoing.
10. Golf Course: Renovation work on the golf course continues.
11. Coastal Beach Area: The beach area is also under continuous development in preparation for the future construction of swimming pools and other landscaping features.
The U.S. EB-5 investment immigration act may be briefly extended until December 11, and currently, this outcome appears highly likely. The top priority for EB-5 investors is to quickly secure projects that have already received exemplar approval from the USCIS, have low employment risk, and have low investment and repayment risk.
