Follow Canadian immigration and listen to Canadian stories: In Canada, the most popular, economical, and convenient way to travel is by RV camping. The choice of RV varies from person to person, ranging from luxurious five-star-like motorhomes to compact and economical ones; people choose the RV that suits them based on their financial situation. In Canada, the cheapest RV costs about 6,000 Canadian dollars (equivalent to over 30,000 RMB), making it affordable for almost every family.
Research shows that traveling by RV in Canada saves 70% of the costs compared to traditional travel methods. RV enthusiasts state that traveling within the country by RV is their top choice. In 1910, automotive enthusiasts and those who loved living in nature began customizing their own vehicles, loading them with beds, storage cabinets, many creative cooking facilities, daily necessities, and water tanks.
Over the past century of RV history, from the simplest designs to today's luxury configurations on wheels, the development of RVs has undergone tremendous changes. The passion Canadians have for RVs and the high frequency of their use are surprising and memorable. Yu Anying shared her deep feelings about her vacation travels.
Yu Anying said that in Canada, many people choose to buy second-hand RVs because some have only been used a few times, making them a good option. She and her husband purchased their second RV after seeing a listing for a used one online. The seller had only used the RV twice; it was in good condition and the price was right. They planned to live in an RV park for the entire summer, so to get a home-like feeling, they traded in their old RV at a dealership for a comfortable 2013 model.
This RV's living room and bedroom can extend outward, reaching a width of about 4 meters when expanded. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, range hood, oven, sink, and refrigerator. The living room features a retractable TV, indoor and outdoor surround sound, an electronic fireplace, ceiling fan, cooling fan, air conditioning, hot and cold water. The bathroom includes a shower, flush toilet, and vanity. It also has a folding sofa, air mattress, two multi-functional reclining chairs, solid oak furniture, an expandable dining table, chairs, bedroom wall cabinets, and a large double bed. The total interior area is over 30 square meters. What I like most are the three large windows, which make the interior very bright, and the bedroom cabinets, which can store a lot of clothes. The designer was very thoughtful and understood the frustration of having nowhere to put things while traveling, so they ingeniously turned the cushions of the four dining chairs into small storage boxes. It really feels like you can just move in with your bags.
The rear of the RV is equipped with a bicycle rack that can hold three bikes at once. The front bottom of the vehicle has an extra-large storage compartment that can hold all necessary items for outings, such as a generator, batteries, fishing gear, folding tables and chairs, tools, etc. It is also equipped with an outdoor shower, water hookups, outdoor power supply, and a gas cylinder storage cabinet, among other things.
The Canadian government has strict regulations on the matching of towing vehicles and RV models, with explicit rules on how much weight a vehicle of a certain horsepower can tow. When choosing an RV, Yu Anying and her husband specifically selected one suitable for their pickup truck. In addition, there are other external features, such as the automatic leveling jack system, stabilization functions, and RV storage capacity, all of which are factors that need to be considered when purchasing a vehicle.
Every weekend this summer, Yu Anying and her husband have been driving their RV out for fishing. The RV brings them more than just convenience and comfort; it brings them closer to nature and allows them to enjoy the happiness of RV life!
