In large global enterprises, female employees are increasingly gaining attention. In the United States, as issues of gender discrimination receive significant social focus, more and more American women are entering higher-paying executive positions, with some becoming the most powerful business leaders. According to research by the Pew Research Center, American women are being liberated from their traditional family roles, with an increasing number of female CEOs emerging each year.

Currently, the highest-paid female CEO in the United States is Marissa Mayer, the CEO of Yahoo, with a compensation of $421 million. The second is Safra Ada Catz, the president of Oracle Corporation, with an income of $377 million. The third is Carol Meyrowitz of TJX Companies, with an income of $233 million.
