As a Mediterranean island nation, Cyprus has a typical Mediterranean climate. Summer temperatures are generally around 32 degrees Celsius, while winter temperatures are around 15 degrees Celsius. Although it rains frequently, the temperature rarely drops below zero degrees Celsius. The summer season is quite long, lasting from April to October. Due to the climate, the local attire is very casual; men mostly wear T-shirts or short-sleeved shirts, while women prefer dresses or camisoles, freely enjoying the sunshine. Life in Cyprus can be described as very comfortable. Furthermore, local order is well-maintained, and the local residents are not xenophobic, allowing immigrants to get along very well with the locals.
In Cyprus, there are no skyscrapers; typical buildings are about 5-6 stories high. Do not worry about having to climb stairs, as almost all buildings over 3 stories have elevators, making travel very convenient. The capital, Nicosia, is a standard affluent area, but it is located in the suburbs where most buildings are two-story villas with outdoor gardens of various sizes, and some even have swimming pools. Because the population density in Cyprus is relatively low, living space is quite spacious, and there is no pressure from tight social interactions, creating a very comfortable, slow-paced lifestyle.
