In the current era of continuous upgrades in global identity planning and asset allocation, policy timing often determines the window of opportunity.
Recently, WorldWay was invited to attend the annual industry summit hosted by IIUSA (Invest In the USA) in Hong Kong. On-site discussions focused on the reauthorization of EB-5, adjustments to investment amounts, and future development directions, releasing several noteworthy policy and market signals. WorldWay also obtained the latest developments and cutting-edge policy information in the U.S. investment immigration field at the earliest opportunity.

Three Key Time Nodes Release Important Signals
This meeting focused on the future authorization arrangements for EB-5 projects and industry trends, with several key pieces of information attracting market attention.
1. September 30, 2026: Deadline for the Grandfather Clause
This is one of the most important time nodes in the current EB-5 market. According to information released at the meeting, investors who complete their EB-5 application submission before September 30, 2026, can continue to advance their EB-5 application process based on the original rules, even if the overall reauthorization of the Regional Center expires in the future, and will not be affected by subsequent authorization changes.
This means that completing your application layout in advance will provide an opportunity to lock in the current policy cycle and secure greater certainty for your identity planning.
2. January 1, 2027: Official Increase in Investment Amounts
According to meeting information, the new investment amounts will be calculated based on the CPI (Consumer Price Index) and rounded to the nearest $50,000. The amounts are now basically clear:
• Non-TEA (Non-Targeted Employment Area): Minimum investment amount adjusted to $1.25 million
• TEA (Targeted Employment Area): Investment amount is 75% of the non-TEA area, which is $937,500
December 31, 2026, will become the dividing line between the current investment threshold and the new investment threshold. EB-5 applications submitted on or after January 1, 2027, will be uniformly executed according to the new investment amount standards, with no room for transition or adjustment.
For families intending to plan for EB-5, completing the layout at this stage not only means seizing the policy window but also provides an opportunity to lock in the current investment threshold.
3. September 30, 2027: Regional Center Reauthorization Node
September 30, 2027, is the deadline for the reauthorization of EB-5 Regional Center projects. Regarding subsequent authorization arrangements, the current mainstream industry direction supports proceeding with a "Clean Reauthorization" approach, which means completing the renewal without adjusting the core framework of the existing act or re-discussing rural projects and related incentive mechanisms, so as to improve authorization efficiency and maintain policy continuity.
With the continuous improvement of the industry compliance system following the implementation of the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act (RIA), EB-5 has gained more recognition at the policy level, and the industry maintains an overall optimistic expectation for reauthorization.
Congress Recognizes the Long-term Value of EB-5
No Need for Excessive Market Concern
Facing the current market attention on changes in U.S. immigration policy, the meeting released a clear signal:
EB-5 is not an immigration project in the traditional sense, but a merit-based immigration category recognized by the United States, and even more so, an important economic development tool that promotes economic growth and creates jobs.
As a mature component of the current U.S. immigration legal system, the EB-5 system has a solid foundation. The U.S. Congress's recognition of the value of EB-5 in creating jobs and driving economic development continues to strengthen. As the reforms related to the implementation of the Reform and Integrity Act (RIA) gradually take effect, the compliance and credibility of projects continue to improve, and the overall development environment of the industry has further matured.
At the same time, regarding the I-485 adjustment of status policy that has recently received high market attention, the meeting clearly pointed out that its overall impact on EB-5 projects is limited, and there is no need for excessive concern.

Strength Endorsement, Strong Alliance
WorldWay × Peachtree Group Join Hands for the Fifth Time to Launch a New Project
It is worth noting that one of the core speakers at this meeting, Mr. Adam Greene, has over ten years of EB-5 operational experience and serves as a member of the IIUSA Board of Directors and Secretary-Treasurer. He has long been deeply involved in project compliance and industry development, and possesses first-hand insights into market trends and regulatory directions.

In addition to his industry role, Adam Greene also serves as the Executive Vice President of EB-5 Investments for the multi-billion dollar U.S. fund Peachtree Group, deeply participating in project investment, development, and operational management.
Founded in 2007, Peachtree Group is a vertically integrated investment management company. Its core business is based on commercial real estate, and it has built a full-industry-chain operation system covering hotel development, hotel management, and financial services.
To date, Peachtree Group has completed 883 investments, with total real estate assets reaching $15.8 billion and $4.7 billion in managed capital. In the field of hotel management, it has deployed 113 hotels with a total of 14,034 guest rooms. According to the 2025 official ranking by the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Peachtree Group ranks tenth in the U.S. in MBA commercial real estate loan originations, is rated as the sixth-largest hotel lender in the U.S., and has remained in the top ten for five consecutive years. In addition, in 2025, Peachtree Group deployed over $3 billion in the commercial real estate credit sector, a year-on-year increase of 88%, demonstrating strong capital deployment capabilities.
This time, WorldWay has once again joined hands with Peachtree Group to launch their fifth collaboration, providing investors with more certain project choices through more mature project screening capabilities and resource integration capabilities.
Exclusively represented by WorldWay in Greater China and jointly created with the multi-billion dollar U.S. fund Peachtree Group, the "Marriott Lake Oconee Resort" EB-5 project is located in a well-known high-end vacation destination in the southeastern United States—the core lakeside area on the west bank of Lake Oconee, Georgia.
