Over the past three years, an increasing number of applicants in the U.S. have discovered a harsh reality: traditional pathways are failing simultaneously.
The chain of Study→OPT→H-1B is repeatedly interrupted by lottery systems and policy uncertainty; employer sponsorship cycles continue to lengthen without addressing long-term family planning; and immigration status has shifted from a “temporary challenge” to a systemic risk.
Against this backdrop, applicants are beginning to proactively seek new paths that do not rely on employers, do not gamble on lotteries, and are not hindered by frequent policy changes.
The new EB-5 policy has opened a golden channel for rapid U.S. immigration for those with such needs and has become a realistic choice for an increasing number of applicants in the U.S.

Concurrent Filing: A Key Path for Stability and Status Adjustment in the U.S.
As you know, following the implementation of the new U.S. EB-5 investment immigration policy, applicants in the U.S. can perform “concurrent filing.” This means that in the absence of a visa backlog, applicants can simultaneously file their I-526E/I-526 immigrant petition and their I-485 application for adjustment of status, while also applying for an I-131 travel document and an I-765 employment authorization document, commonly known as the “mini green card.” Approval of the I-131 travel document allows for legal and free entry and exit from the U.S., while approval of the I-765 employment authorization allows for the legal and free choice of employment.
Based on past cases handled by Worldway Group, many clients have obtained their “mini green cards” through “concurrent filing” in about three months, enjoying “green card” benefits in the U.S. in advance and achieving freedom in life, employment, and education. Even more impressively, many clients have successfully had their I-526E approved in 5-8 months! Interested investors should act quickly.
Foreign students currently studying in the U.S., foreign nationals working in the U.S., holders of other valid and legal U.S. non-immigrant visas, parents accompanying children in the U.S., and “over-aged” children applying with their parents can all utilize “concurrent filing” in the U.S. to live and work in the U.S. more quickly.

Rural Projects: A More Realistic Choice in the Current Phase
Under the new EB-5 law, three categories of visa set-asides have been established: 20% for rural area projects, 10% for high-unemployment area projects, and 2% for infrastructure projects.
It is evident that rural EB-5 projects have the largest quota and also enjoy priority processing rights.
Window Period Reminder: Backlog Risk + Grandfather Clause Countdown
From an industry perspective, it is a consensus that the new EB-5 policy will face backlog pressure in the future. We remind all applicants that once the new EB-5 quota reaches a critical point, a backlog will inevitably emerge, at which time the advantages of “concurrent filing” will immediately disappear.
At the same time, the current EB-5 policy includes a clear “grandfather clause” protection mechanism:
• Applications filed before September 30, 2026
• Can lock in the current policy and remain unaffected by future legal changes
This effectively provides applicants with a “policy safety lock.” However, considering project screening, document preparation, and filing timelines, the truly actionable window is often earlier than the nominal deadline.

The Window Period Never Waits
The new EB-5 policy does indeed provide an immigration channel distinct from traditional paths. However, as application volumes rise, the choice of project and the timing of filing are becoming critical variables that determine success or failure.
What truly sets people apart is never the information itself, but the timing of judgment and action. At this stage, high-quality rural EB-5 projects remain one of the few options that combine policy dividends with timing advantages.
Worldway Group holds two high-quality EB-5 rural projects, helping investors achieve their U.S. residency plans steadily, without backlogs, and efficiently, quickly embarking on a new life in the U.S. Global quotas are limited, spots are scarce, and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis!

In addition, the Trump Gold Card immigration program is now officially open for applications. Worldway Group has taken the lead in launching Gold Card acceptance services, helping applicants efficiently advance their application process and seize critical time windows.
