Cyprus Immigration focus on Cyprus Economy: The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) recently issued a warning to investors regarding Depaho FX and its website www.depahofx.com, stating that it has never been granted a regulatory license by CySEC.

On the Depaho website, the company claims to be located in the capital, Nicosia. If it is indeed based in Nicosia but has not obtained regulatory approval from CySEC, it is difficult to understand why the official Cypriot authorities have not shut it down immediately.
Upon closer inspection, we find that there is indeed a Depaho Ltd. that is licensed by CySEC and holds a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) license. However, Depaho is merely the licensed name of this company, and its business operations and website name are GTCM, found at its website www.gtcm.com.
Given the uniqueness of the name Depaho and the fact that the warned website was only established at the end of last year, we can only assume that Depaho FX is attempting to operate by cloning the license of GTCM.
This is not the first time such a situation has occurred. In August of this year, CySEC issued a warning against CF Invest Ltd. and its website www.cfinvestltd.com. In the warning, CySEC pointed out that there is indeed a licensed forex broker with a similar name called CFI Markets.
