U.S. Investment Immigration focuses on the U.S. economy: Today, Vonage, an independent VoIP provider in the United States, plans to acquire the VoIP company Vocalocity for $130 million, consisting of cash ($105 million) and equity ($25 million). The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year. CEO Marc Lefar views this as a transformation initiative. Currently, Vonage's primary user base consists of residential customers, but it is striving to acquire more business customers. Its market capitalization is currently $641 million.

Vocalocity primarily provides VoIP communication services to small and medium-sized enterprises, employing over 250 staff and serving 21,000 users, with an average monthly spend of $230 per user. Last month, Vocalocity's competitor RingCentral conducted an IPO at $13 per share, which has risen to $16.51 this Wednesday, giving it a current market capitalization of $1 billion.
