Hong Kong Investment Immigration focuses on Hong Kong economic trends: Hong Kong can be called the city with the most billionaires in China. According to the latest survey, the number of billionaires in Hong Kong has increased by 1.4% over the past year to 3,180, making it the region with the highest density of billionaire population in Asia, equivalent to 44 billionaires for every 100,000 Hong Kong residents.
According to media reports, the net worth held by billionaires in Hong Kong increased significantly by 12.8% over the past year, reaching $530 billion, equivalent to HK$4.1 trillion.
The UBS survey found that the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals globally increased by 6.3% this year compared to last year, reaching 199,200, with total wealth rising by 7.7% to $27.77 trillion; among them, there are 2,170 super-rich individuals with a total net worth of $6.5 trillion. The survey defines a "billionaire" as an individual with at least HK$410 million available for investment purposes.
