Hong Kong Investment Immigration focuses on Hong Kong Living developments: The Hong Kong Tourism Board has infused "green" elements into this year's large-scale "Hong Kong Mid-Autumn Festival" events. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the "Lantern Wonderland" event at Victoria Park will showcase a large lantern designed by young architectural designers, constructed from 7,000 discarded plastic bottles, standing three stories tall, embodying environmental protection, vitality, and creativity, allowing citizens to feel the close connection between environmental protection and daily life while celebrating the festival.

The Director General of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Wu Ting-han, stated that the board has actively promoted Hong Kong's traditional festivals and local culture over the years to enrich the experiences of visitors. The "Lantern Wonderland" event combines environmental art with the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival while packaging several celebration activities for promotion to travelers, creating a citywide effect and encouraging participation to experience the festive atmosphere.
The "Hong Kong Mid-Autumn Festival" event is a focal project of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's "Home is Hong Kong" initiatives under the "Vibrant Hong Kong" theme. The large lantern on display, named "Joyful Mid-Autumn", is designed by four young architects: Siu Kwok-kin, Chan Pui-hong, Hsu Chun-hai, and Ho Yat-teng. The designers aim to bring the protagonist of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the "moon", to Victoria Park and draw inspiration from daily life to reinterpret the lantern shape using discarded plastic bottles, conveying an environmental message.
This crescent-shaped lantern is 10 meters tall, with a diameter of approximately 20 meters, constructed from various recyclable or reusable materials. Enhanced by light effects, the crescent lantern standing over a pool can connect with the water's reflection, creating the appearance of a full and waning moon. After the exhibition, the plastic bottles will be recycled into useful plastic raw materials, practicing the environmental concept of "reuse and regeneration".
In addition to setting up large lanterns, the Tourism Board will also establish a "Wishing Lane" and a "Mid-Autumn Market" at Victoria Park, inviting merchants to set up stalls to sell local crafts and food products. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, there will also be a Dragon Dance performance, listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.
