Saint Kitts Immigration focuses on Life in Saint Kitts: Taiwan's leader Ma Ying-jeou visited Central and South America. On the morning of the 18th local time, the delegation's chartered plane arrived in Saint Kitts and Nevis. On the first day of the visit, Ma Ying-jeou met with Prime Minister Douglas of Saint Kitts and announced the joint signing of the "Extradition Treaty," which is also the first treaty established between the two parties in the thirty years since the establishment of official relations.

Taiwan's leader Ma Ying-jeou stepped out of the aircraft, and military music immediately played. Prime Minister Douglas of Saint Kitts and Nevis led officials to welcome him.
Under Douglas's guidance, Ma Ying-jeou reviewed the honor guard and delivered a speech, expressing his hope for further deepening of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
After the welcome ceremony, Ma Ying-jeou and Douglas held a joint press conference, signing the extradition treaty to declare their determination to jointly combat crime. This is also the first treaty established between Taiwan and Saint Kitts in the thirty years since the establishment of official relations.
After the official activities concluded that day, Ma Ying-jeou also inspected the tourist farm built with Taiwan's assistance and visited the famous tourist attraction Brimstone Hill Fortress in Saint Kitts. While watching a traditional dance, Ma Ying-jeou was momentarily startled when a dancer swept him with peacock feathers on their head, a gesture of blessing, but it did not affect his enjoyment of the visit.
