Greek Investment Immigration focuses on Greek Lifestyle. Greek men resemble the handsome figures from mythology, with distinct and upright features, holding a glass of Ouzo, leisurely sitting in a tavern, complemented by the white houses and blue sea behind them, creating a beautiful scene. In countries with deep historical roots, the pace of life seems to be a beat slower, and Greece is no exception. Generally, people do not rise before 11 AM, have a brunch, and finish work around four or five in the afternoon, when the real life of the day begins. It is truly enviable for us so-called modern people, who are busy with our livelihoods, far less carefree than the Greeks. No wonder the Aegean coast of Greece has become a honeymoon destination for newlyweds.

OUZO is a unique type of liqueur from Greece, made from 12 ingredients including grapes, anise, and barley. It has an alcohol content of around 40 degrees (ALC/VOL), and the Ouzo is colorless and transparent, presented in a clear glass bottle, giving an overall simple impression.
Interestingly, the large anise, similar to Chinese star anise, can also be distilled into a wonderful spirit. Anise liqueur is popular in North Africa and along the Mediterranean coast.
Most Greeks love to drink OUZO, and due to its high alcohol content, many prefer to dilute it before drinking. Interestingly, because the liqueur contains a high amount of organic compounds, when water is added, the originally colorless and transparent OUZO immediately becomes cloudy, which is somewhat similar to the French anise liqueurs PERNOD and RICARD, and the taste also bears some resemblance.
When transparent liqueur is poured into a glass with water or ice, within one second, the liquid becomes cloudy, turning into a milky white suspension. The secret lies in the dilution and crystallization of the anise essential oil's "olefin" substances.
The flavor, reminiscent of star anise brine, can be quite difficult to swallow at first, but like seasoned smokers, fans of anise liqueur can be said to be addicted to this peculiar taste.
