Greece Investment Immigration focus on Greek Economic News: The Greek Deputy Minister of Development announced on September 25 that two major tourism infrastructure projects, totaling 1.2 billion euros, will be approved by the government's Strategic Investment Committee and enter the "fast track" procedure. Once implemented, these two projects will create at least 1,900 jobs. The committee will meet in early October, but it remains unknown whether these projects will be implemented smoothly or if they will stall due to a lack of funding, as has happened with 11 other projects that entered the fast-track procedure.

The first project involves the construction of a resort in Central Macedonia, covering an area of 12.67 square kilometers. The resort will include four golf courses, three five-star hotels, luxury residential complexes, a conference center, and more, creating 1,343 job opportunities. The other project is the development of a resort in the eastern Peloponnese, covering an area of 2 square kilometers, with a budget set at 418 million euros, which could create approximately 600 jobs once operational.
