Greece Investment Immigration focuses on life in Greece: Recently, a survey report conducted by the Austrian market research company Gfk for Austrian Airlines revealed that Greece is the most popular travel destination for Austrians. Meanwhile, Austrian Airlines has increased flights to Greece in response to local tourism market demand.
In this survey, 12% of respondents chose Greece as their travel destination. Following closely is Spain, with 10% of respondents favoring this country. The United States, the United Kingdom, and Turkey each received 9% of the votes.
Additionally, according to the survey report, 42% of respondents expressed a strong interest in visiting cultural landmarks, 37% indicated they would like to spend their holidays by the sea, and 24% preferred ocean travel.
Karsten Benz, a member of the board of Austrian Airlines, expressed surprise at the survey results, stating, “The survey data has changed the previous stereotype that lazy vacationers prefer sun and sea.”
