Greece Investment Immigration focuses on life in Greece: To boost passenger numbers, the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) is planning to launch a new initiative that allows passengers to exchange transit tickets for discounts at retail stores.
Officials from the Athens Urban Transport Organization stated that under the concept of this promotional campaign, passengers will be able to enjoy discounts at participating stores by presenting their used transit tickets. Furthermore, participating businesses will decide on the amount and type of discounts offered to passengers on a voluntary basis.
To encourage more merchants to join the program, Athens Urban Transport Organization officials stated that participating businesses will be able to receive free advertising opportunities on various public transport vehicles. At the same time, the official expressed hope that the aforementioned promotional campaign could be launched this July.
