Vanuatu investment immigration focuses on the development of education in Vanuatu:
On November 21, 2012, Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu Xie Bohua was invited to attend the graduation ceremony of Malapoa College in Port Vila. Vanuatu Deputy Prime Minister Lini, Minister of Lands Bule, representatives from the Ministry of Education, and representatives from the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu were also invited to attend.
During the ceremony, Principal Tukoni of Malapoa College read the school's 2011 academic report and presented certificates and awards to the graduates. Ambassador Xie Bohua was invited to deliver a speech and present awards to outstanding students.
The predecessor of Malapoa College was a British high school founded with funding from the United Kingdom in 1966 before Vanuatu's independence. After more than 30 years of development since independence in 1980, the school has become the largest high school and vocational school in Vanuatu, with over 600 students from all over the country enrolled.
