Irish investment immigration focuses on Irish financial news:
According to a recent report by The Irish Times, the sale plan for Bord Gáis Energy, a subsidiary of Bord Gáis, which was part of the state asset privatization program launched by the Irish government in 2012, has attracted over a dozen potential investors from the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, and other countries. Among them, Blackstone Group Inc. has also requested the acquisition manual for the company. It is estimated that the sale value of Bord Gáis Energy is approximately €1 billion. Previously, Blackstone's major investments in Ireland included acquiring an 18.6% stake in Eircom (the former state-owned telecommunications company) through its financial hedge fund, becoming its largest shareholder, and subsequently acquiring several hotels, among others.
