Hong Kong has many tourist attractions. After immigrating to Hong Kong, you may feel overwhelmed, so why not take your time and explore them one by one? It is often said that Disneyland is a paradise for children, but even adults will be infected by the atmosphere here, feeling as if they have returned to their childhood. At Hong Kong Disneyland, you can spend the whole day traveling through Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland, experiencing a series of wonderful and magical journeys. Everyone who comes here will find the most primitive joy, just like a child. The park also incorporates Hong Kong cultural characteristics, designing rides, entertainment performances, and parades specifically for Hong Kong.
The first phase of Hong Kong Disneyland is divided into 4 themed lands:
(1) Main Street, U.S.A.
Mainly for shopping, as well as the 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM parades. You can save shopping for after the fireworks at 8:00 PM; it is easier and more leisurely, and more importantly, it helps you avoid the peak exit time. Choose a good viewing spot for the parade; since people are moving, it is hard to take photos, so recording a video is recommended.
(2) Adventureland
Themed around Tarzan, it focuses on forests and adventure. The Festival of the Lion King is an opera-style show in a circular theater with excellent live lighting and sound effects. The venue can accommodate about 500 people, and the seating consists of long benches; even if you go to queue 10 minutes before the show starts, you will still get a seat. You might end up in the back rows, but that is not a big problem.
Because the songs are in English, you need to sit after the 6th row to see the Chinese subtitles! There is an animal statue around the circular stage; it is recommended to choose a position where you can see the Lion King for a better effect.
(3) Fantasyland
Mainly features various cartoon-themed rides and performances, dreamy cartoons, and leisurely play;
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a popular attraction where you can get a FastPass, but it is quite childish, and adults often lose interest;
The newly built "it's a small world" is very cute. Sitting in a small boat, you can enjoy songs in the national costumes and languages of countries around the world. It is suitable for girls, super adorable, and highly recommended!
(4) Tomorrowland
Mainly features rides and experiences related to future technology. Space Mountain is a roller coaster in a dark environment with starlight; it is super exciting, and I kept my eyes open the whole time, which was very satisfying.
High School Musical, Disney's High-Energy Show, Muppet Mobile Lab, City Hall, Animation Academy, Main Street Vehicles, and the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad.
The Hong Kong Disneyland park is actually quite small, and you can walk through it several times in one day, so don't worry. It is recommended to pick up a map guide at the entrance and choose the areas you are interested in to visit.
