1. Maternity Benefit
After immigrating to Ireland, if you are living in Ireland and become pregnant, you are entitled to a benefit for a duration of 26 weeks. If the child is born after the due date and the remaining maternity leave for the pregnant woman is less than 4 weeks, there may be eligibility to extend the maternity leave to ensure that the woman receives a full 4 weeks of leave after childbirth. In this case, the woman can continue to receive maternity benefit until the baby reaches 4 weeks old.

2. Free Prenatal Care
Public obstetric care in Ireland is free for all pregnant residents, including prenatal care, care during childbirth, and hospitalization costs for mothers and infants. Additionally, if this is your first pregnancy, you should be paid for attending 5 out of the 8 classes of prenatal education.
3. Dental Services
The Irish government provides dental services for children under 6 years old, primary school students, and medical card holders. Primary school students can seek dental treatment through children's medical services or after regular school visits. If necessary, they can also go to orthodontic clinics for further treatment, which will be overseen by the chief dentist of the medical center, and orthodontic treatment is free.
4. Immunization
Children and young people in Ireland can enjoy a range of immunization services for free, taking preventive measures against certain diseases to protect them from illness.
5. Child Health Development Checks
Children aged nine months can receive comprehensive child health development checks funded by the government, which include assessments of hearing, vision, language skills, and more.
6. Child Allowance
The Irish government provides a minimum allowance of €140 for each child under the age of 16 or 18 for EU citizens.
