Ireland Investment Immigration focus on Ireland economy news: According to a report by the World Bank and PwC, Ireland ranks sixth globally for business tax compliance efficiency, placing it first among all European Union countries. The report states that the ranking is based on the complexity of procedures for paying business taxes and the total tax burden. The survey shows that Irish companies spend an average of 80 hours per year on tax compliance, far lower than the 218 hours in Germany and the EU average of 176 hours. A representative from PwC stated that compared to other EU countries, Ireland's tax system makes it relatively easy for companies to pay taxes, particularly due to the tax authorities' leadership in developing electronic filing and payment systems.
