Investment immigration to Hong Kong offers many great places for hiking and watching the sunrise. Inviting a few friends, packing your hiking gear, and experiencing the breathtaking beauty of the vast red light dyeing the clouds is a wonderful way to spend a weekend. Here, we recommend ten of the best sunrise viewing spots for friends living in Hong Kong. Personally, I think every one of them is worth a visit! Go ahead and relax your body and mind!

1. Tai Mo Shan
As the highest peak in Hong Kong and adjacent to the plains of Yuen Long and Kam Tin, it is a great place for sunrise, sunset, and even photographing the galaxy, attracting many photography enthusiasts. On the eve of New Year's Day, the mountain is often crowded with people waiting for the first rays of the new year's sun.
Transportation: If hiking in a group of 4-5, you can take a taxi via Tai Mo Shan Rotary Park to the gate before the mid-mountain area, walk along Tai Mo Shan Road for about an hour to reach the vicinity of the summit, and you can see the sunrise by looking east from any point along the road.
2. Lantau Peak
Lantau Peak is the second highest peak in Hong Kong and a famous spot for watching the sunrise. However, the temperature at night on Lantau Peak is low, so night hikers should find someone familiar with the route to lead the way and be well-prepared before setting off. Moreover, the summit is often foggy in the early morning, so there is no guarantee of seeing the sunrise; the chances are higher in winter. Some say the chance of seeing the sunrise on Lantau Peak is one in three; good luck to everyone!
Transportation: Take Lantau Bus No. 23 to Ngong Ping Village, which takes about 50 minutes. After getting off, follow the signs to Lantau Trail and walk for about 25 minutes to arrive.

However, the mountain path does not have clear signs, so it is suitable for experienced hikers.

Cape D'Aguilar is located at the end of the Southern District of Hong Kong and is the only marine reserve in Hong Kong. Walking along the road on Cape D'Aguilar Road, you can reach the seaside of the University of Hong Kong's research institute.
