Focus on Greek Immigration and Greek Economic Development: The Greek Tourism Enterprises Association held a conference on October 22, announcing the "2021 Tourism Industry Strategic Plan," which predicts that in the next 8-10 years, the tourism industry will continue to be a driving force for the Greek economy, contributing 35% to economic development and 38% to employment rates.
The plan suggests creating six major tourism products: traditional sun-sea tourism, conference and exhibition tourism, urban leisure tourism, cultural theme tourism, marine theme tourism, and healthcare tourism.
