Focus on Hong Kong Investment Immigration and Hong Kong's Economic Development: The Economic Development Commission, chaired by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Leung Chun-ying, held its third meeting on October 31, where discussions were held on the future development of Hong Kong's land resources, tourism, and exhibition industries.

Four working groups reported their discussion results after the meeting, including suggestions for the government to establish a civil aviation training academy, research talent training and attraction to Hong Kong, develop the creative industries, actively enhance tourism reception capacity, and participate in national development plans.
Leung Chun-ying stated that there are many comments in society regarding the current state and future development of Hong Kong's economy. He hopes that the specific recommendations from the commission can lead to the development of Hong Kong's four major industries (trade and logistics, tourism, finance, and professional services and other productive services), and also hopes to align the development of Hong Kong with that of the provinces and cities in the Mainland and the entire country.
Attendees of the meeting included the Financial Secretary, John Tsang, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Greg So, and the conveners of the four working groups under the Economic Commission.
