Focus on Hong Kong Immigration and Hong Kong Economy: The "2013 Hong Kong Industrial and Commercial Awards" ceremony was held on the 24th at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre, honoring 63 outstanding local enterprises in Hong Kong, among which 6 enterprises received grand prizes in 6 different award categories.
The Hong Kong Industrial and Commercial Awards are fully supported by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. This award program was formed in 2005 by merging the Hong Kong Industrial Awards (held since 1989) and the Hong Kong Service Awards (held since 1997). The program aims to recognize the achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in their pursuit of high technology and high value, as well as their outstanding performance in various fields. A total of 234 applications were received for the "2013 Hong Kong Industrial and Commercial Awards."
The Hong Kong Industrial and Commercial Awards consist of six award categories: the Consumer Product Design category organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Industries, the Machinery and Mechanical Tools Design category organized by the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, the Customer Service category organized by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association, the Creative category organized by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Productivity and Quality category organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and the Technological Achievement category organized by the Hong Kong Science Park Corporation.
