Focus on Hong Kong Investment Immigration and Hong Kong Living: Over a thousand exhibitors from 40 countries and regions will showcase various specialty wines at the sixth Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, which opens on Thursday (7th), including a limited edition Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum priced at approximately HKD 500,000.

Other specialty wines include a French yellow wine made from white grapes that has been fermented in smaller barrels for 6 years and 3 months, as well as Riesling produced by Knipser, which was awarded top five-star winery status by three major German wine guides in 2011. Additionally, wines rich in cultural diversity from the Dominican Republic, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Lithuania, and more will also be featured at this wine fair.
This exhibition will be held for three consecutive days starting from the 7th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The organizer, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, held a media preview on the 6th, allowing the media to taste some of the showcased wines first. Vice President Zhou Qiliang introduced that since the abolition of the wine import tax in 2008, the wine-related industry has flourished in Hong Kong, with the number of exhibitors exceeding one thousand, an increase of 5% compared to last year; there are also many new faces, including the Penglai City Bureau of Grapes and Wine from Mainland China, the Xining Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Kagoshima Prefectural Government from Japan, and Wines of Turkey.
During the media preview, Julien Cothenet, the overseas market export manager of the French winery Ackerman, introduced a rare non-alcoholic wine to reporters. He stated that wine has a long history and has also made various innovations to adapt to today's society. This year, their winery invented a non-alcoholic wine that can be consumed by drivers.
According to the organizer, this wine fair features a wide range of exhibits from around the world, including various wines, wine education and training, wine accessories and equipment, wine industry services, wine investment products, wine storage and transportation services, as well as various food pairings.
