Follow Hong Kong immigration and Hong Kong news: The Hong Kong vessel 'Kai Fung No. 2', which sailed to the Diaoyu Islands last August, plans to set sail again for a fishing trip to Nansha and conducted a sea trial today.

The 'Kai Fung No. 2' left the Shau Kei Wan Typhoon Shelter this morning and sailed toward the Tsim Sha Tsui Public Pier. This is the second sea trial for the 'Kai Fung No. 2' since the Marine Department issued the relevant vessel inspection certificate. During this trial, the Hong Kong Marine Department dispatched a vessel to follow alongside. Lo Kan-chau, Chairman of the Action Committee for Defending the Diaoyu Islands, stated that after the sea trial last Friday, a problem was discovered with the radar, which has since been replaced in preparation for the fishing trip to Nansha this month. Although the vessel's hardware already meets the requirements, because it has not been on a long voyage for a long time, it is necessary to conduct sea trials before departing for Nansha to verify that the electronic equipment on board is functioning properly.
