Immigrate to Canada and pay attention to life in Canada: Canadian meteorological experts predict that due to the El Niño current blocking the polar vortex, temperatures across Canada will be above or at normal levels for the next three months. This means that Canadians will not have to endure the severe cold weather experienced last winter.

Meteorologist Dave Phillips stated that during December of this year, and January and February of next year, temperatures from Vancouver Island to Lake Superior and in the Atlantic provinces will be above normal levels. Ontario and Quebec will experience a "more representative" winter compared to last year, meaning that the duration of cold snaps and snowfall will be shorter, with more abrupt climate changes.
The accuracy of the Environment Canada’s one-day weather forecast reaches 93%, while quarterly forecasts cannot achieve such accuracy. Phillips mentioned that releasing inaccurate forecasts is a recipe for criticism, but farmers and disaster relief agencies need them, and ordinary Canadians, although they may not use such forecasts, seem to eagerly anticipate their release.
