For investment immigration to Ireland and to learn about Life in Ireland: On November 24, An Post (Ireland's postal service) issued a Christmas stamp with a face value of 0.68 Euros. The main image on the stamp is a small angel. This angel on the stamp is P. Curtis, an elementary school student from Dublin, the capital of Ireland. This series of stamps are self-adhesive; each full sheet contains 26 stamps and is priced at 17 Euros, with one stamp included free of charge. The stamp series was designed by Vermillion. At the same time, a new set of two electronic stamps was also issued, featuring religious stained-glass designs. ATM-issued stamps are available in denominations of 0.68 and 1.00 Euros. To coincide with the issuance of the stamps, An Post has also produced first-day covers.

Christmas is a traditional Western holiday celebrated annually on December 25th. A mass is a type of church liturgy. Christmas is a religious festival; because it is celebrated as the birth of Jesus, it is named "Christmas." Most Catholic churches hold Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve (the 24th), or early in the morning on December 25th, while some Christian churches hold carol services before celebrating Christmas on December 25th. The Christmas celebration of the Orthodox Church, another major branch of Christianity, takes place on January 7th each year.
