A survey shows that in recent years, the most popular countries for young job seekers are the United States, followed by the United Kingdom and Canada.
This survey covered 66,000 employees from 40 countries. 22% chose London, while New York and Sydney ranked second and third with 16% and 12% of the votes, respectively; they were followed by Paris, Dubai, and Singapore.
The study found that although major metropolitan areas are highly attractive, for two-thirds of job seekers, the country is more important than the city. When evaluated by country, the United States remains the most popular choice.
