Immigrating to Ireland and visiting Ireland's unique attractions: Birr Castle is one of the largest private castles in Ireland, and the Parsons family has resided there since the castle was built. Birr Castle was originally a Gothic-style building. Unlike typical castles usually located in the suburbs or countryside, it is situated within the town of Birr. There are over 4,500 species of plants here, many of which were brought to Ireland from Yunnan, China, by the Earl of Rosse.

Castle Story: The current owner, the 7th Earl of Rosse, still lives in the ancient castle (and the area where he resides is not open to tourists). The Parsons family was previously very dedicated to fields such as science, photography, steam power, and electricity. Looking out from the ancient castle, you can see a suspension bridge built in 1820 and a turbine house built in 1879. This suspension bridge is the oldest in Irish history. Not far away, you can see an artificial pond (containing some ducks and a group of ill-tempered swans), a waterfall, and the estate.
Featured Recommendations: The museum's collection is exceptionally rich, ranging from astronomy and engineering to photography equipment and handicrafts. People are usually attracted to the copper astrolabe inscribed with Arabic script, and the collection of 19th-century photographs by the Countess of Rosse is also not to be missed.
