Focus on UK investment immigration and UK living: Tourists traveling to southern England can see a gigantic egg-shaped object floating at the mouth of the Beaulieu River. According to the Daily Mail, this egg-shaped house is inhabited by 58-year-old artist Stephen Turner, who will live and work here until June of next year, studying local climate change, wildlife, and answering questions from local students.
This egg-shaped house cost £40,000 and is constructed using shipbuilding techniques, made from hundreds of wood strips and plywood. Visually, besides the door for entry and exit, there is a skylight and several small ventilation holes. The interior serves as Turner’s workspace and living space, equipped with a workbench, table, shower, flushing toilet, and a sleeping platform referred to as the “small head,” making it clear that “though the sparrow is small, it has all its vital organs.”
Reportedly, there are hundreds of wood strips adhered all around the egg-shaped house, all painstakingly glued by hand, taking a total of six months to complete the construction.
