Spain Investment Immigration focuses on life in Spain: Most biodegradable plastics begin to thin, lose weight, and decrease in strength after being exposed to a general environment for 3 months, gradually breaking into fragments. Recently, the Plastics Technology Centre (Aimplas) in Spain announced that it has collaborated with numerous well-known plastic companies to develop a 100% biodegradable plastic bottle for use in the medical and pharmaceutical field.

Under the action of microorganisms, these plastics can be completely decomposed into low-molecular compounds. They are characterized by convenient storage and transportation; as long as they are kept dry and do not require protection from light, they have a wide range of applications. They can be used not only for agricultural mulch and packaging bags but also widely in the pharmaceutical field. With the development of modern biotechnology, biodegradable plastics are receiving increasing attention and have become a new hot spot for research and development.
It is reported that this new type of biodegradable packaging, after special processing, will automatically decompose into water, carbon dioxide, inorganic salts, and biomass energy. In addition to medicine, this packaging container can also hold face cream, gel, shampoo, mouthwash, and other substances.
In a statement, Aimplas pointed out that due to limitations in production technology and product characteristics, biodegradable pharmaceutical packaging could previously only be made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene). Aimplas researchers stated: "From now on, biodegradable materials can also be applied in the pharmaceutical field, ensuring the preservation of drug properties while increasing the environmental value of medicine bottles."
